AI-Powered Virtual Estimating (Yembo)

Send a Yembo link, the customer walks their home with their phone, and AI builds the inventory. You review, price, and send — no video call needed.

Yembo is an AI inventory tool built into MoveRight. Instead of getting on a video call, you send the customer a link. They walk through their home with their phone camera, and Yembo builds a complete room-by-room inventory. You review it, price it, and send the estimate. No scheduling. No driving. No video call.

What this does

Yembo uses AI to scan a customer’s home and automatically identify furniture, boxes, and specialty items. It generates an inventory list that flows directly into your MoveRight estimate.

Who uses this

Virtual estimators — this is your most efficient tool. Sales agents — use Yembo when the customer can’t schedule a video call. Owners — this is how you scale estimating without adding staff.

Before you start

  • You know how to build an estimate: How to Create an Estimate
  • Your company has Yembo enabled (check with your admin if unsure)
  • The customer has a smartphone with a working camera

Open the customer’s opportunity in MoveRight and click Send Yembo Link. MoveRight sends the customer an SMS and email with a link.

The message says something like: “Hi [Name], let’s get you an accurate quote! Tap this link and walk through your home with your phone camera. It takes about 10 minutes. [Link]”

You can also customize the message if needed.

Step 2: The customer scans their home

The customer taps the link on their phone. A simple web app opens — no download needed. It guides them through:

  1. Start at the front door — the app prompts them to walk slowly
  2. Scan each room — they pan their camera left to right. The AI detects furniture, appliances, boxes, and specialty items.
  3. Confirm items — after each room, Yembo shows a list of what it detected. The customer can add missed items or remove things that aren’t moving.
  4. Repeat for every room — the app prompts: “Any more rooms? Basement? Garage? Attic?”

The whole process takes 10–15 minutes for a typical home.

Step 3: Review the AI inventory

Once the customer finishes the scan, Yembo sends the inventory to MoveRight. You get a notification that the scan is complete.

Open the opportunity and review the Yembo inventory:

  1. Check the item list — Yembo is usually accurate, but verify the counts. Did it catch the dining room table? The patio furniture?
  2. Check specialty items — Yembo detects pianos, pool tables, and large art, but confirm with the customer if anything seems missing.
  3. Check volumes — does the total box count seem right for the home size?
  4. Add access notes — Yembo doesn’t know about staircases, elevators, or parking. Add these from the customer’s original intake form or ask by text.

If something looks wrong, you can text the customer: “Hey [Name], I reviewed your home scan. Quick question — do you have any items in the basement that should be included?”

Step 4: Price and send the estimate

Once you’ve verified the inventory, build the estimate in MoveRight:

  1. The Yembo inventory should auto-populate line items
  2. Add crew size, hours, truck fee, and any surcharges
  3. Add packing services if the customer requested them
  4. Click Send Estimate

The customer gets the branded quote by text and email.

  • Very large or complex homes

Common questions

What if the customer doesn’t complete the scan? You get no notification. After 48 hours, send a reminder text. After 5 days, try a video call instead.

What if Yembo misses items? This is why you review the inventory. If the final job differs from the estimate because the customer didn’t include items, you handle it as a change order on move day.

Does Yembo work for commercial moves? Not as well. It’s designed for residential homes. For offices and commercial spaces, use a video call or in-person visit.

Is Yembo extra cost? Check with your admin. Yembo is typically included on certain MoveRight plans. If you’re not sure, ask.
